This series is about creating boundaries then deciding where to allow them to soften and break... what remains inside and what spills out. It's an exploration of the balance between control and letting go, order and chaos, beauty and grotesqueness. The process which pushes the limits of paint/painting into the realm of sculpture is a metaphor.
(It's also a super fun process. I freaking love paint.)
